Aqueous Ozone - An Honest Guide

Does every disinfectant that can be poured, sprayed, mopped or fogged have to be made from powerful or harmful chemicals?

Actually, some of the best disinfectants can be made from cold tap water. You can make it yourself - on-site, just before you start cleaning.

It's so practical - you'll never run out of disinfectant while you have clean water.

So, what actually happens? How does the water go from a drinkable solution to an effective disinfectant?

Electricity adds an extra oxygen molecule to O2, creating O3. The O3 is then infused into the cold tap water through an Ozone generator to create safe Aqueous Ozone.

What is Aqueous Ozone?

Aqueous Ozone is a powerful chemical-free disinfectant, produced by electricity, that destroys germs, bacteria and other contaminants on surfaces. Many people associate the name with ozone gas, yet Aqueous Ozone is very different. It is certified safe by many of the leading governing bodies across the world, and has been proven to be harmless to people and is shown to be even safer than common cleaning chemicals.

While Ozone itself can be toxic, Aqueous Ozone is not. It is generally regarded as being safer than many traditional, chemical-based cleaners on the market. When the Aqueous Ozone solution is produced it has an
average Aqueous half-life of around 20 minutes (after this it reduces in effectiveness by around 50%), so the solution is best made immediately before use.

The EnozoPRO from Foremost

EnozoPRO – the risk-reducing alternative to daily chemicals, turns tap water into safe Aqueous Ozone with a push of a trigger. The EnozoPRO bottle lasts for around 5,000 refills, saving space, uses the Aqueous Ozone solution at full strength, eliminates the need for single-use plastic bottles and can be used anywhere.

The EnozoPRO spray bottle contains Active Diamond Electrolytic Process Technology (ADEPT), where normal water is passed through a special diamond plate, charged with an electrical current, which creates the Aqueous Ozone solution. This solution is then used for cleaning processes. As mentioned above, Aqueous Ozone degrades in strength by 50% every 20 minutes after it’s produced. By being used as soon as it’s produced, EnozoPRO allows you to use it at its strongest.

What is Aqueous Ozone good for?

Disinfection - Aqueous Ozone produced by EnozoPRO is tested to kill 99.9% of some of the most harmful bacteria when used as directed.

Deodourising - Aqueous Ozone helps to attack unwanted odours without the need for added fragrances or dyes. This is especially helpful to those with allergies.

However, while Aqueous Ozone excels at sanitisation, if used for degreasing and deep-cleaning it may not be quite as effective. The Ozone molecules are relatively large, which makes it hard for them to penetrate deep into grease and oil deposits.

Is Aqueous Ozone eco-friendly and sustainable?

Yes. With no toxicity from chemicals, Aqueous Ozone is harmless to the environment and will help in reducing CO2, due to reduced amounts of transportation required compared to re-stocking traditional chemicals.

Using electricity and water to make the Aqueous Ozone is a sustainable option as it utilises the power of natural water and, once used, it reverts to its natural state of water and oxygen.

With Aqueous Ozone, there is never a reason to use single-use plastic. Whether you generate it in the bottle or use a fixed generator, the bottle you use can be re-used many times.

Is Aqueous Ozone safe?

Yes, Aqueous Ozone is safe. It is residue-free, non-irritant to skin and lungs, fragrance-free, dye-free, allergen-free and contains no preservatives.

So, consider using EnozoPRO - where the Aqueous Ozone solution is generated inside the bottle at the press of the trigger.
