Is there any washroom cleaners that also disinfect, descale and deodourise and are bactericidal and virucidal?

That just sounds like a long-winded mouthful, a 'too-good-to-be-true' product, but it does exist. In this article I'll explain what it is and how you can use it, what you can use it on and what you shouldn't use it on.

What is the W4 Virucidal Citrus Washroom Cleaner?

The W4 Virucidal Citrus washroom cleaner is a concentrate solution that is one of the best all-round cleaning products designed for cleaning, descaling, deodourising and disinfection of washrooms.

This Citrus washroom cleaner is effective against most common forms of bacteria and has been independently tested to European Standard Test Method BS EN 1276 (certified to kill bacteria) with 5 minute contact time when diluted at 1:50 ratio (2%). It also kills a wide spectrum of micro-organisms including E-coli and coronaviruses (EN14476 - certified to kill SARS-CoV-2).

How to use W4

For General Cleaning & Disinfection
Dilute 1 pump (30 ml) to 750ml water (1:50 2%), swirl to mix.
Apply to surface with cloth or spray, allowing five minutes contact time before agitating the surface.
Then wipe away with a damp cloth and allow to air dry.

For heavy duty descaling or spraying in insides of toilet bowls
Use neat in a trigger sprayer bottle.

What W4 is good for

If you're looking for a washroom cleaner that leaves a nice smell, you've definitely found it here. Designed to smell of Lime, you'll have to agree that it leaves the washroom smelling cleaned.

W4 contains phosphoric acid to clean and remove limescale build-up and organic deposits from washroom hard surfaces including toilets, urinals, washbasins, sinks, tiles, counter surfaces and floors. i.e. this is safe for use on porcelain, stainless steel, chrome, ceramic and tiled surfaces.

What W4 is not good for

W4 is not good on acid-sensitive surfaces or vitreous enamel as is it likely to corrode the surface due to the strength of its acidity - pH 2.
